We are not a bank, not a lender, and we do not process or transmit payments of any kind.

1. What We Do
NeoSpend offers:
- Secure tools to help you understand your financial activity;
- Budgeting and analytics features that provide spending insights;
- Optional connection to read-only financial data providers for viewing transactions;
- Notifications, summaries, and educational materials about personal finance.
We do not hold funds, transfer money, or initiate payments.
2. Your Responsibilities
When using NeoSpend, you agree to:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province);
- Provide accurate and truthful information;
- Use NeoSpend only for lawful, personal purposes; and
- Keep your login credentials secure.

3. Fees and Subscriptions
- Some features of NeoSpend are free, while others may require a paid subscription.
- You’ll always see any fees, taxes, and billing intervals before you subscribe.
- Payments for subscriptions are handled securely through your app store account (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play).
- NeoSpend does not collect or store your payment details directly.
- If your subscription is not paid or is canceled, access to premium features will end at the conclusion of your current billing period.
4. Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel directly in your app store account or by contacting us at hello@neospend.com.
- Payments already made are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.
- Quebec consumers may cancel at any time but are responsible for payment for services provided until the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Your Information and Privacy
- We collect only the information needed to operate and improve our services.
- If you choose to connect financial accounts, we may receive read-only data (e.g., balances or transactions) from authorized data providers, but we cannot move or modify funds.
- We never sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Third-Party Integrations
Some NeoSpend features rely on third-party technology (for example, account linking or data aggregation tools).
Each of those providers has its own terms of service and privacy policy, which you should review before using linked services.
NeoSpend is not responsible for third-party errors, outages, or data inaccuracies.
7. Service Availability
We work hard to provide reliable access, but NeoSpend may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., internet outages or service disruptions).
If the platform is ever permanently discontinued, we’ll provide reasonable notice and instructions for exporting your data.
8. Limitation of Liability (Summary)

- NeoSpend is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- We make no guarantees that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- NeoSpend is not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost savings or data).
- Our total liability to you will never exceed the total amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
- Quebec consumers retain all rights provided by provincial consumer protection law.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you experience a problem, please email hello@neospend.com with a summary of the issue.
We’ll respond within 21 days and attempt to resolve it informally.
If unresolved, you may pursue legal remedies as permitted by law.
Governing Law:
- For users outside Quebec → governed by Manitoba law, with disputes heard in Winnipeg, MB.
- For Quebec users → governed by Quebec law, with disputes heard in your local judicial district.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and this summary as our services evolve.
If we make significant changes, we’ll email you or post a notice at least 30 days in advance.
If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your account before the new version takes effect — at no cost or penalty.
11. Account Closure
You can close your NeoSpend account anytime in the app or by emailing hello@neospend.com.
Once your account is closed, access to your data ends, except where retention is required by law.
12. Accessibility and Language
We can provide these Terms and this summary in French for Quebec consumers upon request.
